Execute designs of plant equipment for efficient structural design concepts.
• Read and understand structural codes, construction specifications, drawings and review design plans.
• Perform structural design and analytical calculation using governing codes and standards,
• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering
formulas, skills, and experience.
• Provide drawing for designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters
• Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and other inter disciplinary
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering design documents
• Ensure all pertinent input data is available for team members to complete the necessary tasks.
• Create and maintain company and reference standards for structural designs and procedures.
